The Son's Gonna Shine On You

Claude, he plays guitar and he plays it well.
He writes music and sings, all about the Lord he does tell.

He takes his ole guitar out and he strums and he sings.
Singing about the Lord, oh what joy it does bring.

His songs are amazing, such a sound so sweet
Some are real slow and some are upbeat.

No matter the music, no matter the words.
He has a love for the Lord and he wants it heard.

One day in heaven Claude, the Son's gonna shine on you.
For you have a love for Him, that He knows is true.

Some day in heaven when you take your seat.
You'll play that ole guitar, at the Great Master's feet.

The angels will join in, oh what a sound so grand.
The Son's gonna shine on you and your heavenly band.
