A Special Lady

A Special Lady

There's a special lady whose faith is strong
To the Lord her heart does belong.

She lifts her voice in song to Him in praise
Giving thanks to Him for this beautiful day.

Her love for the Lord is plain to see
Her faith in God also strengthens me.

In good times and in bad her faith still remains intact
Encouraging others to seek the Lord, she certainly has the knack.

The way she lives her life is a testimony in itself
Her love for the Lord is apparent in sickness and in health.

No doubt she has her share of problems from time to time
Learning from her, I know will help me through these battles of mine.

To look upon her now, she may seem fragile and frail
But she has an inner strength from God and she shall never fail.

Like a mighty warrior with the Lord by her side
Forward to battle she goes, forever with Jesus she will abide.

She's a tried and true Christian, that has weathered many a storm
Her strength coming from God, when she is tired, weary and worn.

Just by knowing this special lady, I have been truly inspired
She has a relationship with the Lord, that I too have desired.

The Lord, through her has touched others in so many ways
She is His witness by the way she lives her life each and every day.

Through this special lady, I've learned what being a true Christian is all about
Seeing her life in action has helped me to figure it all out.

This special lady will always hold a dear place in my heart
She's taught me things where I, myself wouldn't know where to begin or how to start.

I thank God for this dear, precious friend I've found
In her His love and joy most surely does abound.

This special lady now has friends galore
In heaven though, she'll have many, many more.
