So many years had passed, since we'd been in touch
But once again we're talking I still love you , Oh so much.

My middle step child, so beautiful to see
Just couldn't understand about her dad and me.

So many wasted years, and so many fallen tears
Missing you so much as the days turned into years. 

My heart was so elated when I got your friend request
Of all the answered prayers this was one of the very best.

You're still as beautiful as you were way back then
When you were my little girl, when you were only ten.

Thank you sweet Kay for coming back into my life
You've taken away some worries, longing and some strife.

I hope we'll always be friends, it gives me peace of mind
I'll keep you in my prayers, we'll both be just fine.
