My Twenty Third
Psalm
The Lord is
my Shepherd, I shall
not want
He supplies every
need so well.
I lie down in green
pastures and walk by
still waters
What a testimony I
have to tell.
He restores my
soul, But for
His righteousness
and leading
I know I'd surely
fall.
Even walking in the
shadow of death
Upon His precious
name I can call.
I fear no evil
with Him by my side
His rod and staff
comfort me.
When I'm surrounded
by Satan's foes
In His name, they
have to flee.
He prepares me a
table in front of my
enemies
He anoints my head
with oil.
When my cup runs
over, I can rest
From all the days of
troubles and toil.
Surely goodness
and mercy does
follow me
Every day of my
life.
One day I'll dwell
in His house forever
Where there's no
more heartaches or
strife.
