If I Knew Then

If I could push back the hands of time
How different would my life be?

Would I still make the same mistakes
When I could more clearly see?

I've heard it said, If I knew then 
The things that I know now

My life would be so different
It would just be better, somehow.

But at the end of every day
When all is said and done.

I'm responsible for my deeds
I'll answer for every one.

So Lord I ask for wisdom
And understanding of how to live.

In a way that all the glory
To you I'll always give.
