The rain will stop

Sometime it seems the rain will never stop
That the gloom will stay forever
But be of good cheer, Jesus is here
And He will leave you, never.

He'll bring the sunshine back to your life
When with faith you've fought the good fight.
When it seems the days are as dark as the night
Remember it's darkest just before the light.

He said He'd leave or forsake you, Never.
He's there even when you can't see.
There's nothing that can make Him break His word
So right there beside you He will be.

The rain will stop, the sun will shine again
I promise you it will get better.
If you hold onto Jesus and keep you head high
You'll come through it stronger than ever.
