Citizen Of Heaven

When my heart stops beating
My life will just begin.
This life is preparation
For eternity with Him.

I'm a citizen of heaven
Where the Lord Jesus lives
I'm so very thankful
For eternal life He gives.

Each moment in this earthly tent
Is time away from home.
I long to be where I belong
Praising God around His throne.

This world is quickly fading
Old things will pass away.
God's plans endure forever
To take me home one day.
