The Comforter

Behold the tears,
and they have no comforter Ecc. 4:1

Do you have the comforter
Down deep in your soul?
Has the precious blood of Jesus
Cleansed and made you whole?

Do you awake in midnight hours
With thoughts of grief and woe,
Are you holding on to all your past?
You have to let it go.

Jesus went back to heaven,
So the comforter He could send.
Let Him come into your heart,
Your broken life to mend.

Friend, you don't have to live in pain,
Of all your yesterdays.
Give your heart to the Lord,
Let the comforter lead your way.
