You came into my life
When I was in pain and grief.
Your friendship was so special
To have someone to talk to was such a relief.

I remember how I'd struggled
Just to make it through the day.
Then you came along and changed it all
So here's what I have to say.

A woman could never ask for
A sweeter Valentine.
And I am truly blessed
Because I know you're mine.

That friendship that we shared
Blossomed like a rose, lovely to see.
And it only gets better through the years
The love God gave to you and me.

So knowing that I have my own
Valentine to love.
