Matrimony Knot

It seems to me like yesterday
We looked into each other's eyes.
When before the preacher we stood
And the Matrimony Knot of love we tied.

Seven years ago today we tied that knot
A matrimony knot so strong.
It binds us together in love
And will hold us our whole life long.

A knot meant to hold, it will never be broken
It was tied before God with much love and devotion.
When I promised you my love, when I gave you my heart.
When we tied that knot together, it simply meant we'll never part.
